The Quest Difference

We wear casual clothes to church, so there is no dress parade. But, our "Come as you are from where you are" motto extends to your spirituality as well as your clothes. You don't have to act a certain way, talk a certain way or think a certain way. We hope you'll check us out. Our Quest is to earn the trust of our community and our God as a place where the two can come together. We do this by serving our neighbors with acts of kindness and generosity. For you this means our aim is to be a safe place where you can ask questions and explore your spirituality. You don’t have to be a clone to find acceptance here. This is a place where you can belong before you believe. We've discovered that many people who either believe in or are open to believing in God are put off by the attitudes, formalities or arbitrary rules associated with church. We've also discovered that it is not our job to change people. We instead chose to love people just as we find them. We love people without any agenda other than leaving them closer to God than when we found them. We attempt to follow Christ's lead in the way he interacted with the people around him.
